Indira Park

Located in the Lower tank Bund of Hyderabad city Indira Park Hyderabad is one of the most renowned parks in Hyderabad city.  Spreading over an area of 76 acres of land his park is located adjacent to the Hussain Sagar Lake. This park was opened for public in 1978 with vast natural beauty and scenic features of a garden. Named after the former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi this park is known all the country.

The main attraction of the Indira Park is its rare beautiful trees, musical fountains, and Katta Maisama Temple. Besides the tourist, the localities of the area visit this park to laze at the scenic landscapes. The park is designed so cautiously that the natural elements of the area such as wild date palms, keuvda plantations and beautiful Sandalwood trees are still there. Fruit trees like mango, kala jamun (Indian Blackberry) are located inside the park.
A canteen is here where one can have soft drinks and snacks. Other attractions of the park are its musical Dancing Fountains and waterfalls, rose garden, etc. Katta Maisama is a temple located near the park. While visiting this park one must explore this temple. The pond of the park has boating facilities.
