Public Gardens

The biggest and the oldest park of Hyderabad, Public Gardens of Hyderabad is a most visited garden. It is not only visited for its lawn and greenery but also for its historic buildings located inside it. The main attractions of the garden are the State Legislative Assembly, State Archaeological Museum, Jubilee Hall, Jawahar Bal Bhavan and Telugu Lalita Kala Thoranam and an open air theatre.
It is a paradise for the children as the Children Train roams in and around this park. Besides the children adults can have nice time at this garden of Hyderabad exploring its historical buildings.

The Andhra Pradesh State Archaeological Museum and the Health Museum are located inside the garden. In the children park children can play various games. A mini school called Jawahar Bal Bhavan is here which train the children in fine arts and an auditorium called Indira Gandhi Auditorium is located adjacent to it. The open air theatre, Lalitha Kala Thoranam, is a platform to various film festivals, fashion shows and beauty pageants. Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly is located inside the garden. A huge statue of the Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi adds beauty to the garden.
